Robyn Tedesco

Robyn started her dance career at the age of four with the Sheila Milne/Eleanor Brennan School in Owen Sound, Ontario.  She won several championships in dance both nationally and internationally during that time and represented Canada in the 1988 World Fair in Louisiana.  Robyn has performed or danced with Disney, Frank Mills, the Labatt’s Blue Briar, New York City School of Performing Arts, and in the Movie “One Magic Christmas.”  She has performed live theatre including the University of Waterloo’s production of “The Bacchae” and choreographed the Wellington Theatre Guild’s production of “Grease.”

Educated in Classical Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Highland, Tap and National Dance, Robyn attended Ryerson University in Toronto and the University of Waterloo, where she attained a B.A. Dance.  Robyn has studied under such greats as: Nadia Potts, Anuschka Roes, Brian Folie, Fay Folie Susan Cash, Vicki St Denis and Stelio Calagias.

Her teaching career spans 27 years.  She adjudicates professionally in all Stage disciplines. Robyn maintains professional Full Members and certifications as past Chairperson of the British Association of Teachers of Dance for Western Ontario District, a Divisional Chair and Full Member of Canadian Dance Teachers Association in Ballet and National Ethnic, Member of Scotdance Ontario, and is certified with the International Association of Dance Adjudicators.
