Lauren Hillson

Lauren began her dance career at the age of 3 with the Holly Hughes Dance Academy in Guelph. She then moved to Ottawa and began her intensive training in R.A.D. Ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and musical theatre with the Canadian School of Dance. She also began competing while training in Ottawa. Upon returning to Guelph, she danced at and competed with Bojangles Art of Dance in Kitchener.

She has trained with some of the best, including Ray Leeper, Dan Karaty, Nick Lazzarini, Dee Caspary, Mandy Moore and Bryan and Faye Foli. Her dancing has taken her to California where she trained at The Edge Dance Studio and Millennium Dance Complex.

She has attended many workshops in both Canada and the U.S. and has been the recipient of numerous awards and scholarships, including Rhythm Solo Titlist.  Professionally she has danced in The Nutcracker Ballet and most recently with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.
