Lorinda began her dancing career at the age of 4 in Red Deer, Alberta studying tap under Judy Dorland.  She has danced competitively and successfully throughout Western Canada in the disciplines of Tap, Jazz, Stage, Song and Dance and Highland receiving top honours for all of Western Canada for her Tap performances.  For Highland, she has completed all exams to Associate level and is accredited to enter dancers into competition.  She has had the unique opportunity to study at workshops and performance centres throughout Canada and the United States working with such notable talents as Brian and Faye Foley, Shelley Tookey and others.  She began teaching under the guidance of Dancentral Studio at the age of 16 leading dancers through the Tap and Jazz ADAPT Syllabus towards Honours standings for dance exams .  Lorinda has taught at many schools throughout Alberta, B.C. and Ontario and has had the privilege and honour to guide many dancers to top competition levels including Dancer of the Year, Top Choreography and numerous overall awards.
