Move With Grace Dance Studios Cambridge Ontario

Senior Student Rebekha Lutz has trained at Move With Grace Studios for 5 years. In 2010 she joined our Apprentice Teaching program to learn instructional techniques and share her impressive dance peddigrie inspiring her younger peers.  Her dance voyage began at age 2 &1/2 where she quickly learned that Tap Dance was special to her.  By Age six she was fully involved in competitive dance with a progressive record of placements, overall awards and scholarship wins as the years passed.

In 2004 Rebekha joined the cast of Ballet Jorgen in the Nutcracker.  By July 2007, she was performing on the Ocean Monarch cruising the Greek islands with the Dance Dance Canada show team.   In 2008, she won 1st runner up in the Miss Dance Canada pageant and was a cast member of the reality TV show “Kids For It.”

Rebekha was one of a handfull of elite dancers asked to join Team Canada in 2010 for the IDO World Dance Championships for Tap in Germany under the direction of Everett Smith.  Two months later the same year she was asked to Team Canada to perform on the Jazz and Modern teams under world adjudicator and choreographer Jacques Monfiston in Poland for IDO World Championships, the equivalent of the Olympics of dance.

Her dance skill repetoire continues to evolve as this year she will be travelling to Austria for the IDO Worlds this time competing in Hip Hop under the direction of former Move With Grace Hip Hop Director Nick Tull.

Rebekha’s rare gifts and dedication to dance makes her an excellent roll model for our younger students while she apprentices as a teacher and hones her instructional skills.
