Rose Nicholson has been providing nurturing and quality dance education for over the past decade. Trained in a variety of styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical and contemporary, Rose pursued post-secondary dance education at York University receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance focusing on performance and choreography, followed by receiving a Master of Arts in Dance. Rose has also had the pleasure of working with Canada’s Ballet Jorgen as the youth rehearsal director for their performance of The Nutcracker.
She is a member of the Performing Arts Educators of Canada in Jazz and Early Dance Education, and also successfully completed her tap teacher certification through the Tap Dance Centre.
In the competitive industry, Rose’s students and choreography have excelled on stage, receiving numerous overall, judges choice, choreography, and top discipline awards. She has trained students who have successfully gone on to pursue dance in post-secondary and professional settings. Rose hopes to always leave her students feeling inspired, challenged, and supported in her dance classes.
